Popular Nigerian content creators and livestreamers Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, and Oderhohwo Efeh, popularly called Carter Efe, have been nominated for the prestigious 2026 International Streamer Awards.
The dynamic duo secured their nominations in the highly competitive Best International Streamers category. They will go head-to-head against a strong global lineup, including Polish creator Young Multi, Cuban streamer Staryuuki, and Indian streamer Ashswag.
The award organizers officially unveiled the full list of nominees over social media platform X over the weekend, confirming that public voting is currently live on their official website and will officially close on October 31.
Following the announcement, both Nigerian internet sensations took to social media to express excitement and rally their communities for votes.
Carter Efe wrote with characteristic confidence: “Don’t stress it, Carter all the way! 100%.”
In the same vein, Peller voiced his appreciation for his dedicated follower base, stating, “Bro my fans are crazy no way.”
The double nomination marks another major milestone for the fast-rising stars, arriving hot on the heels of Peller’s recent announcement regarding an official invitation to TikTok’s corporate office in the United Kingdom. Fans and supporters across the continent have since taken to social media to campaign for the Nigerian pair as voting lines remain open ahead of the October 31 deadline.
