Undergraduate Killed as Suspected ‘Yahoo Boy’ Crashes Car on RSU Campus

Tragedy struck on Tuesday evening at the Rivers State University campus after a female undergraduate was killed in a car crash allegedly involving suspected internet fraudsters. According to eyewitness reports, the suspected “Yahoo Boy” and other friends were said to be involved in car racing on campus when one of the vehicles lost control.

The car rammed into the student, who had gone out to get something for herself at the time of the incident. She died on the spot.“The boys were allegedly engaged in car racing and one of the cars lost control and rammed into the lady. She died on the spot while the guys fled the scene,” an eyewitness told our correspondent.

It was also reported that one of the guys involved in the racing was later apprehended and handed over to school authorities. The incident has sparked outrage among students and staff, with calls for tighter campus security and a crackdown on reckless driving within RSU.
