Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has accepted a celebrity boxing challenge issued by fellow musician and entertainer Teniola Apata, known professionally as Teni.
The exchange began when Teni posted a video on her official Instagram page directly calling out the music star, writing: “Mama!!! Make we fight @tiwasavage. 3 billion later, I go apologise for outside the boxing ring.”
Savage responded shortly after on social media, accepting the offer with a brief reply: “Pick a date.”
The exchange follows a surge of interest in Nigerian celebrity exhibition bouts, coming less than 72 hours after former Big Brother Naija housemate Phyna defeated Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing in a widely publicized boxing match.
