Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has formally extended his congratulations to Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, following his re-election victory in last Saturday’s gubernatorial poll.
In a statement issued on Monday through his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo described the election outcome as a clear demonstration of the trust and confidence the electorate has in Adeleke’s leadership.
“The Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has congratulated Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his successful re-election for a second term following last Saturday’s polls,” the statement read.
Soludo also commended the electorate in Osun State for demonstrating democratic conviction and participating peacefully in the electoral process, noting that their active civic engagement strengthens the country’s democratic framework.
“As Adeleke embarks on his renewed journey of leadership, Soludo posits that true governance thrives when leaders rise above partisan differences to act magnanimously and focus on shared goals of development,” the statement added.
Calling for calm and unity following the poll, Soludo urged all political stakeholders—including the ruling party, opposition groups, and civil society organizations—to embrace peace and work collaboratively toward the development of Osun State.
Extending his goodwill for the upcoming term, Soludo wished Governor Adeleke a successful administration guided by wisdom, courage, and a commitment to delivering lasting benefits to the people of Osun State.
