Abuja- The Department of State Services, DSS, arraigned three Ansaru Commnaders and two other suspects following the recent abduction of school children in Oriire, Oyo State and the killing of two teachers.
The suspects are: Abubakar Abba Mahmuda, also known as Abu Bara’a and Abubakar Abbas, popularly called Mallam Mahmuda Al-Nigeri and three other suspects.
They are facing charges of terrorism, kidnapping and murder before Justice Salim Ibrahim of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The DSS had captured the suspects during operations targeted at the Ansaru Terrorist Organization.
The trial is set to resume on 24 September, 2026.
