Tottenham Hotspur have agreed an £85 million deal to sign Savinho from Manchester City.
Spurs will pay an initial £75m for the 22-year-old Brazil international, with another £10m in add-ons.
It is understood £5m of those bonuses are effectively guaranteed, meaning City are set to receive at least £80m in total.
Savinho is scheduled to have his medical at Tottenham on Friday.
Spurs are also still in talks with City over a separate deal for striker Omar Marmoush as they look to strengthen their attack further.
Savinho has struggled for regular game time since joining City in 2024. Last season he started just seven of his 24 Premier League appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
In the meantime, Arsenal have completed the signing of Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa in a deal worth £51 million.
The 28-year-old England defender has signed a four-year contract, with the option of an additional 12 months, after successfully passing his medical. The club is now only awaiting official confirmation of the transfer.
Konsa becomes Arsenal’s fifth major signing of the summer transfer window. He joins a list of new arrivals that includes Piero Hincapie, who signed permanently from Bayer Leverkusen, as well as Illan Meslier, Christos Tzolis and Bruno Guimaraes.
The defender could make his Arsenal debut against his former club when the Gunners travel to Villa Park on August 31.
Konsa’s signing comes as Arsenal look to strengthen their defence, with William Saliba expected to be sidelined for a lengthy period and Jurrien Timber still recovering from a long-term groin injury.
