Big Brother Naija Season 11 Kicks Off with 24 Housemates Vying for ₦160M Grand Prize

Africa’s flagship reality television show returned on Sunday night as 24 housemates officially crossed the threshold into Biggie’s House for the launch of Big Brother Naija Season 11.
This season’s theme, “Show ya sef,” sets the stage for an intense competition featuring an equal split of 12 female and 12 male contestants drawn from diverse backgrounds across Nigeria. Over the coming weeks, the housemates will navigate daily challenges, strategic nominations, and weekly evictions in their bid to secure the coveted title and a grand prize valued at ₦160 million.
A Diverse Lineup of Contenders
The contestant lineup brings together a broad range of professions and distinct personalities:
The Strategists and Entrepreneurs: The women of the house include Isabella Imoh (Bells), 22, a student from Akwa Ibom who describes herself as a “schemer”; Kamsy Uzoma, 24, an event planner and actress from Imo; Flora Egbedi, 30, a bridal brand owner from Delta; and Nomy Chukwu, 27, a fashion entrepreneur from Anambra. They are joined by legal practitioner Chinaecherem Maduagwu (Neche), 25, and Ogun-based sales entrepreneur Oyindamola Oshikoya (Oyin), 22.
Creatives and Performers: Bringing entertainment to the foreground are Plateau broadcaster Faith Gamde (Sheba), 32; Abia musician Lovette Okechukwu (Goddessa), 32; performance artist Ijeoma Emi (Mercedes), 28; and model/chef Abisola Ayoola (Abi), 25. The women’s side is rounded out by student Temitope Chigbue (Temi Nkem), 21, and Adamawa model/photographer Usaku Bantai (Bluethopia), 22.
An Array of Male Competitors: The male contestants present equally varied backgrounds, featuring Lagos author Joshua Alekewumu (Tram), 24; Rivers filmmaker Patrick Jumbo (Ricky), 33; pharmacist Chimsom Chuka-Okoli, 26; backend developer Amyr Yousufzai (Aikou), 25; and web developer Victor Ikpe (Keivo), 27. The roster also includes professional dancer Sultan Aregbe-Obanikoro (Sultex), 24; civil engineer Muudumbari Pop-Yornwin (Barry), 25; fashion model Oluwaseyifunmi Sosanya (Araga), 29; presenter Gerard Adebija, 23; entrepreneur Ezenwoke Nwosu (Cassi), 26; creative director Martins Iyeh, 29; and actor Yusuf Muhammad-Awal, 27.
