Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan delivered another dominant performance on Sunday, equaling her season-best time of 12.28 seconds to win the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League.

The world record holder finished comfortably ahead of American duo Grace Stark, who took second in 12.38 seconds, and Alaysha Johnson, third in 12.39 seconds. Amusan showed her class with a strong finish.

After Dutch athlete Nadine Visser made the faster start, Amusan chased her down, took the lead, and pulled away to seal a convincing victory. It was the third time this season the 28-year-old has run 12.28 seconds, having posted the same time at the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings in May.

The Paris win marked Amusan’s second Diamond League triumph of the season after her success in Rabat. Earlier this month, she also won the New Taipei City Athletics Open, further underlining her form.

Amusan started her 2026 campaign by securing a fourth consecutive African title and has continued to build momentum ahead of the Diamond League final and the Commonwealth Games later this year.
