Prominent businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Jezco Group, Chief Joseph Ezeokafor, has been released by his abductors after spending 11 days in captivity.
According to family sources, the industrialist was set free late last night near the Enugu-Anambra boundary. He was subsequently picked up by a family member and has since been reunited with his family.
Details surrounding whether a ransom was paid or if security agencies were involved in securing his release remain sketchy as of press time.
Relieved family members and associates have expressed profound gratitude over his safe return following nearly two weeks of anxiety, describing his release as a major answer to prayers.
