Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved key appointments into his administration, naming Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as “Wolekanle,” as his new Chief of Staff.
In the same vein, the governor appointed Mrs. Aderonke Adedayo as the Director-General of the state’s Due Process Office.
According to separate letters announcing the appointments, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, both decisions take immediate effect.
Prior to his elevation, Akinwole—a prominent grassroots politician—served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
Mrs. Adedayo, who currently serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor on General Intervention and Donor Agencies, will retain her portfolio while taking on the added responsibility of leading the state’s Due Process Office.
Congratulating the appointees, Governor Makinde charged them to approach their duties with unalloyed loyalty, unwavering commitment, and dedication to public service. He expressed full confidence in their ability to deliver on their mandates and advance the development goals of Oyo State.
