Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior reported to the club’s Valdebebas training ground on Monday morning to undergo routine medical tests and join preseason training, amid continuing speculation regarding his future at the Bernabéu.
The 26-year-old Brazilian international is set to train for the first time under newly appointed manager José Mourinho as Madrid prepares for the upcoming campaign.
Vinícius has been heavily linked with a potential summer transfer to Arsenal, with contract extension talks between the player and Real Madrid remaining stalled for over a year as his current deal enters its final months.
Also arriving at Valdebebas on Monday was high-profile summer signing Bernardo Silva, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Manchester City.
